On 20th March2025 Government of Odisha Higher Education Department published an advertisement regarding the timeline of entrance test and admission into 2 years B.Ed./M.Ed./B.H.Ed . course under SAMS for the Academic session 2025-26 in SAMS Portals. Eligible and interested both male and female candidates can apply online at TE SAMS Odisha official website te. samsodisha.gov.in within the stipulated timeline given by conducting body. Important Dates of Entrance Exam

1. Online Apply Start date-24.03.2025(12.00 Noon)

2.Last date of Apply-10.04.2025(11.45 PM)

3.Editing of CAF (If required)-11.04.2025(10.00 AM to 11.45 PM)

4.Availability of Hall ticket-23.05.2025(12.00 noon onwards)

5.Conducts of Entrance test (B.Ed. &B.H.Ed)-01.06.2025(Sunday)

6.Conducts of Entrance Test for M.Ed.-04.06.2025(Wednesday)

 Required Age Limit

Candidates Seeking B.Ed. admission through Entrance examination must fulfill the required age limit set by the conducting authority. Age limit requirement for different candidates belonging to different categories is mentioned below such as

1.For SC/ST/SEBC candidates33 year (Not born before30.06.1990)

2.for women candidates33 years (all categories)

3.For general category- 28 years (Not born before 30.06.1995)

4.for PH candidates38 Years (Not born before 30.06.1985)

 Educational Qualification

The Conducting Authority of B.Ed. Entrance Examination has set a certain percentage of aggregate marks in graduation as an educational eligibility. Candidates must meet the educational qualifications for candidatures for B.Ed. Entrance. Educational qualifications for different candidates belonging to different categories or streams has mentioned below such as

1. A bachelor's or master's degree in science, Social Science Or humanities with at least 50%

For SC/ST'PWD/SEBC-Minimum45% aggregate

2.Candidates with a bachelor's degree in engineering or Technolgy spiralizing in math and science must have a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

Documents Required for Odisha B.Ed. 2025

1. High School Certificate or Equivalent 

2. Intermediate (+2) Certificate or Equivalent.

3.Marks sheets of the qualifying examination.

4. Caste Certificate (If Applicable)

5. Transfer and Migration Certificate.

Odisha B.Ed. Exam 2025 Reservation Policy

The Odisha B.Ed. Entrance exam 2025 reservation policy is kept on the basis of the category of applicant. Certain number of seats are reserved to be allotted to different categories. Check out details below 👇

Odisha B.Ed. Entrance exam 2025 Application Fee

To Successfully submit the application form applicant will have to pay application fee. Candidate can pay using Debit/Credit card or Internet Banking. If payment will not be completed before deadline, then application will not be accepted. As per the official information fee is different for different categories such as 

1.General/OBC-INR 500

2.SC/ST/PWD-INR 300

 Odisha B.Ed. Entrance Exam Pattern 

The entrance Exam compromises two papers

PAPER I: Common for all candidates focusing on General Awareness, Teaching Aptitude, Reasoning and Language (English)

 PAPER II: Divided into two sections based on the candidate's academic background 

. Arts Stream: Include General English, Odia, History, Political science, Geography and Economic.

. Science stream:  Physical science, Bio Science and Mathematics.

Preparation Tips

. Understand the Syllabus: Thoroughly review the syllabus of both the papers.

. Practice Previous year Paper: Solve Past years ' Papers to familiarize yourself with the exam pattern and type of questions.

. Time Mangement: Allocate time slot for specific subject and stay consistent with study schedule
