 BIHAR B.Ed. CET ENTRANCE EXAM 2025: DETAILS REVIEW

The Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga conducts the Combined Entrance Test for B.Ed. and Shiksha Shastri programme.  It is a two year B.Ed. course programme for the academic year 2025-26.

B.Ed. as well as Shiksha Shastri is mainly for those who want to pursue a career in teaching. These are programme to learn the technique of teaching and to nurture and improve skills so that one can become a successful teacher in future. It is a state level entrance exam. AGE LIMIT FOR ENTRANCE EXAM

The University does not prescribe any age limit for the Bihar B.Ed. CET exam.This means irrespective of their age can fill out the application form. How ever by the age 21 years candidates must have graduation certificate which is minimum required educational qualification. No upper age limit is mentioned in notification.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION 

 The conducting body has prescribed minimum eligibility criteria. The candidates must meet the educational qualification to take admission in the B.Ed. programme.  Such as

1.A bachelor's and/or master's degree in science, social science, humanities/ commerce with at least%

2.Candidates with a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology specialisation in math and science must have a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

3.For Shiksha Shastri Programme candidates with at least 50% in bachelor's degree with Sanskrit as the main subject master's degree in Sanskrit/ Aacharya in traditional Sanskrit Shatara with 50% marks. 

 EXAM PATTERN oF ENTRANCE TEST

The CET B.Ed. 2025 entrance Exam will be in offline mode. Total examination duration is of 2 hours. Candidates have to answer 120 Multiple choice Questions. Candidates Must use blue/black ball pen only to mark the answer on the OMR sheet.

The Question Booklet shall have 120 objective type questions each carrying one mark. The Maximum marks allotted to the Entrance Test is 120.

1.General English ( For B.Ed.)- 15 Q- 15 Marks

2.General Sanskrit ( For Shiksha Shastri)- 15 Q-15 marks

3.General Hindi-15 Q- 15 Marks

4.Reasoning- 25 Q- 25 Marks

5.General Awareness - 15 Q-

MINIMUM QUALIFYING MARKS CET B.Ed.2025

1.  For Unreserved category- 35% correspondingly 

2. For SC/ ST/BC/ EBC/WBC/EWS and Divyang Category -30% correspondingly 36 marks

 ENTRANCE TEST FEE

1.General/ UR category-Rs 1000

2.Differently abled/EBC/BC/ Women/ EWS-Rs 750

3.SC/ST category - Rs 500
